It Was A SAD Trip To The Mailbox…

…for this is what I found laying at the edge of the woods on the way down the hill.
See the envelope? See the mud? See how wet? Well, you can’t see how wet it is, but it is! I was so sad.
I can’t blame this on the mailman because it was half-way up our driveway so apparently one of my children must have dropped it the other day on the way back home. Who knows?!
Inside there were 6 coupons worth $5 that may end up being trashed unless I can dry and salvage them. I really hope I can because they don’t have expiration dates!
If I can’t then at least these may go peacefully from bleeding ink instead of the scissor treatment my daughter gives her coupons. (I cut the filler inserts for her to pretend with).
OK, that’s just totally bad coupon humor. Sorry! Do you have some ruined coupon stories to share?

I (don't ask me how) dropped a coupon booklet in the toilet. Good thing the toilet hadn't been used...anyway I fished out the booklet and took it apart and set the coupons upon the dryer to dry out. I used several of those coupons even if they were a little wrinkled.

LOL, now just imagine telling the cashiers that story when you hand them over! haha

I linked over to your blog from easy meals for busy moms (I'm a contributor). I have had a few happy coupon accidents. By this I mean that I pick up homeless coupons from the ground in parking lots. Sometimes they are lumpy, bumpy because cars have rolled over them, but they still work:)

I pick up coupons that have been dropped or left in the store if I need it. Plus I like leaving coupons or handing them out like a coupon fairy.
