New Years Resolution to Save Money

Sunday, January 02, 2011 Hand-posted by Jennifer

    Struggling Economy

This post is part of a series to with tips to save and spend money wisely to Resolutionize Your Wallet.

In today’s economy more and more families are struggling with money.  Store prices are rising.  Gasoline seems to double overnight.  More and more “necessities” are becoming expensive while salaries seem to remain the same.  And that’s for those people who are lucky enough to find a job.

Groceries alone can hit your wallet pretty hard.  A comparison between your buggy and your receipt can often be expensive.  If your shopping list already consists of the bare minimum then you probably don’t have much in the buggy that you could go without.

Many people live paycheck to paycheck and it’s hard.  You’re broke and you know how to play the game.  The game where you have to rob Peter to pay Paul to get your bills paid.  Then somehow you have to scrimp together enough money to make sure you have gas, food and other necessities just to get by.

You’re broke.  Every week.  But, it’s a New Year and you have a New Years Resolution to Save Money.  Join me each day as I post tips to help you save and spend money wisely.
