Valentines Kroger mailer

Wednesday, February 04, 2009 Hand-posted by Jennifer

020409 Kroger Mailer I am tickled pink!  I received a Kroger Mailer for the first time…oh my gosh!

I have had the same Kroger card for over a year and even though I’ve had different loyalty cards before I have never received a Kroger Mailer on any of them.

Why?  I don’t know!  I have had the same address with all cards with the exception of literally moving next door from 1724 to 1706 so the mailman is always kind enough to put all of my mail in the new box regardless of what the street number was.

I had input my new info on Kroger.com and still nothing.  I had called Kroger Customer Service countless times asking as well.  Still nothing.  I was on top of this all year long last year.

Customer Service knew what coupons I was talking about but didn’t know why I wasn’t receiving them.  I had pretty much shopped Kroger for about 80% of my groceries up until I started couponing in ‘08 (when it turned into about 98%) so I HAVE been a loyal customer for years…just different cards because I would keep losing them.  However, I have been faithful for keeping track of this last one (with the help of inputting my phone number sometimes).

So, have you had problems receiving a Kroger mailer?  Do you get them regularly?  Do you know what I’m talking about?  If you’re not getting them then you need to visit and contact them today so you can start hounding for yours.

And here is what was in my mailer:

FREE Betty Crocker Cake Mix 18oz-22oz
$.45/1 Kroger Mini-peeled Carrots in Produce Dept

I got a thank you packet, too! Mine is from Fry's, the Kroger affiliate in Arizona, but it is packed with coupons! I had no idea that they sent these packets out. Do you know how often they are sent? Is it just for Valentine's day? Well, this is just another reason that I LOVE this store!

I don't know the rhyme or reason to when they send them out. I've read other comments that people get them anywhere from quarterly and monthly to every few weeks.

Now that I actually received one I can't wait for the next. Yea for Kroger coupons!

I've had the very same experience that you have had, and just got my first packet this week too! And no, you're not a dork, because I swear I squealed out loud when I saw mine in the mail! My coupons were similar to yours, but supposedly they tailor them to your buying habits. I have a friend who says she gets one of these about every month, so let's keep out fingers crossed! btw, great blog - thanks!
