Giveaway: Romano’s Macaroni Grill Gift Basket: Ends 4/30

Sunday, April 26, 2009 Hand-posted by Jennifer

MyBlogSpark recently sent me a really nice gift basket.  And, I’m talking really, really nice gift basket!

Macaroni%20Grill%20Gift%20%20ImageThere was a colander, serving spoon, cheese grater, box of the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta, AND coupons to get 3 more free boxes the next time I go to the grocery store.  THREE more coupons!  I’m in heaven!

So, how nice was this basket in the kitchen?  Well, my daughter and I cooked up the yummy dinner last night and just because it sits near the Hamburger Helper in the grocery store does NOT mean it is comparable!  NOT at all!  And the taste?  Let’s just say I could hardly wait the 20 minutes I spent in the kitchen cooking!  SO very yummy!

But, MyBlogSpark doesn’t want me to be the only one enjoying the wonderful treats they sent because they are also offering THREE of my readers a chance to win!  I’m sure you want one!  Let’s get to it, shall we?

How to Win? Leave a separate comment for each extra entry! Make sure you leave an email address for me.

  • Tell me how often you eat dinner together as a family or how you let the kids help you cook dinner.

Bonus entries:  Take advantage of these extra entries to increase your chances…  And, make sure that you are leaving a separate comment for each extra entry!

Contest Ends Thursday April 30th at midnight. I will announce the winner by Friday and contact you to get your mailing address. Only US residents please.

Also, in the meantime you can get a $1.00 off printable coupon to grab one of these at the store now.  Plus, you can get a coupon emailed for a FREE Appetizer at Romano’s Macaroni Grill for the next time you’re in one of their Restaurants.  Good luck to everyone!

Except for the one night a month I escape to have dinner with the 'girls', we have our meals together all the time.

One of the few things my daughter enjoys helping me cook is Macaroni Grills chicken alfredo. I think this has become her favorite meal!

Thank you for the great giveaway!

We eat as a family every night except for when my husband has to work late and then we (my children and I) still have dinner together at the table.

I'm trying to get my kids more involved in the kitchen. I have them stir foods, grate cheese, etc.

My 3 year old loves to help in the kitchen. She mainly just watches, but she loves to stir and wash dishes. :)

We have a family dinner every Wed night. With ball and practice it is hard to guarantee everyone will be home for any other night. But we use our kitchen as a hang out/ homework spot so it all works out.

Once the nice weather comes, we often eat dinner on the run. I make the meal early, and pack it for a "gourmet picnic" to be eaten at a baseball practice, a baseball game, etc.....

We eat together every night. Most nights we eat in, but occasionally go to restaurants each month. Hannah (age 3) does everything from helping me to grind grain, to picking lettuce from the garden, to rolling out cookies, to unloading the dishwasher. The Montessori approach is to involve your children in everyday life as much as possible and to give them tasks that are worthwhile and helpful. There are some days when I just want to do it myself, but for the most part, she is involved in daily meal preparation.

Thanks for the chance to win!

My kids are still young, so we eat dinner together each night. My four year old loves being the "sous chef" and helping me with mixing things up.
