I have a question about the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Catalina deal at Kroger. So I only use one of the "Buy 3 Get One Free" coupons? And is the Catalina for $2.00 off Kraft Macaroni on your next trip, or is it just a $2.00 of your next grocery bill at Kroger? Not sure how the Catalinas work.
Thanks a bunch for taking the time to explain this to me!
Have a great day!

The Catalina prints out as a "Thank you" for purchasing the Kraft Macaroni. It is basically like a coupon that can be applied toward your next shopping trip (similar to the Walgreens register rewards), not your next purchase of Kraft Mac.
It excludes a few things like prescriptions, gas, alcohol, cigarettes and maybe something else but, for the most part you can buy almost anything. It is referred to a lot of times as a Cat or OYNO (On Your Next Order).
Hope that helps!

My Kroger would only let me use one of those coupons in each transaction. I bought 6 boxes of macaroni and cheese (getting 2 free) but they wouldn't let me use both coupons.. :(

That's right! Sorry I wasn't clear.
It's actually better to buy 6 boxes and only use 1 coupon rather than 8 boxes and 2 coupons! And then turn around and do the deal over again.
Sorry about the confusion.

I think I'm slow today. Why can't we buy 8, use 2 of the b3/g1 coupons, and get the $2 catalina? I'm pretty sure my store will let me use 2 of those coupons, but does it effect whether or not the catalina prints?

It's not that you can't buy 8 but the final price is actually better if you only buy 6. Here's the math:
8x.53=4.24-.53-.53-2.00=1.18/8=.15ea
6x.53=3.18-.53-2.00=.65/6=.11ea
5x.53=2.65-.53-1.50=.62/5=.12ea
4x.53=2.12-.53-1.00=.59/4=.15ea
I know it's kind of crude but if you see the final price of .11cents each on the 2nd line of the example for only buying 6 boxes and using only 1 coupon is better than any of the other examples.

I only got the 4 boxes, used 1 Buy 3 Get 1 free coupon, and got my $1.00 catalina. I'm happy enough! :) Oh, and I did the 4 boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks last week and used my $2.50 catalina toward this week's groceries. Thank you for posting about all these!

I picked up 36 boxes tonight at Kroger. Because my husband and I will NEVER eat this many.. I plan on donating SEVERAL of these to my church pantry. Thanks so much for all the info/deals! Beyond helping me save on a weekly basis.. you are also giving me another way to serve people in need! So GREAT!!

I was so excited about this deal...and I totally flubbed up and messed up! But I did get the $2.00 coupon. Thanks!

One time I bought 12 and only got 1 $2 coupon. Next time I split my order thinking I'd get 1 on each transaction, but still got only. Do you know why? Is it 1 transaction per day?
Thanks for all of your hard work!
