T.J. Maxx always has an interesting selection of luxury soaps and lotions. Some are in beautiful containers and very expensive looking but the price is always a small fraction of the retail and they make fabulous gifts.

Each Marshalls and TJ Maxx offer different varieties, it's good if you have several near you to visit each one for a bit until you figure out which one has the best prices and variety on which items. For example the Marshalls near my home has better bedding sales than the TJ Maxx by my job, but the TJ Maxx by my job has better sales and assortment in regards to housewares and decor! Just a fun and helpful tip so you can save money and always find what you are looking for when you need it in a pinch! :-)

Tip: if you can, wait until after christmas and shop the clearance racks for things people brought back that they didn't like. I get all my best deals right after christmas.

To be completely honest, I've only ever shopped Marshall's once. But I did love the selection. I'd love to head back and find some jeans that actually fit me - this post pregnancy body needs some new fittings!

I live in a town that does not have a TJ Max or a Marshalls, so I plan a day out of every month with my family and we go shopping, it is fun to get out and save money on great items. Thankyou :)

My tip is to shop on Black Friday. You have to do your homework because sometimes the stores say an item is on sale when it actually isn't. But other than that, I'm very selective when it come to BF shopping. I only go for one or two things because it's crazy that day! This year I went for one thing and saved myself $100 just for that. So excited!!

Another tip... use freebies and look for low-cost items that are on sale at online stores like Amazon who often mark down prices on various items. Just check back often or browse coupon blogs such as this one to find the great deals!

If your college kid isn't local, before you pick him up for Christmas, go to the local TJ Maxx and pick up some of their cool college-themed stuff to give him for Christmas for A LOT less than you'd pay somewhere else. They have never let me down!

To save money I try to hit up black friday sales or cyber monday. Usually some great deals if you are willing to battle with the crowds. TJMaxx and Marshals are always offering the best prices though, no matter what day it is.
