Hi! And Welcome to Coupon Mommie!
I'm Jennifer and I wanted to share a little info with you about who is behind Coupon Mommie. I am a married mother of three little ones in Knoxville, TN. My two oldest boys are 8 & 5 and my baby girl is 2 1/2.
I began my coupon hobby in 2008 and I’m not sure how I would have survived the last half of that year without coupons! I am great at math and don’t understand why it took me ten years for the light bulb to go off and realize this ability to save was always available to me! So, I created this blog as a resource for others who want to learn how to use coupons effectively and make their dollars stretch.
Here is a little of what you'll find here:
Coupon matchups: Coupons that match with the weekly sale ads for various stores including CVS, Walgreens, Kroger and more.
Coupon Tips: If you're new to couponing then my Coupon 101 is a great place to start and I am always here to help if you want to leave comments or email me along the way in your couponing adventure.
Freebies: Who doesn't love freebies? It's like Christmas in your mailbox!
A little of this and that: A variety of stuff to keep you on your toes and coming back for more.
So, I invite you to look around and hope you find my site to be a very useful tool.

Hello,
I just found your blog and saw that you live in Knoxville. I plan to move there within a year. Is the job market really that bad there?

Hey Anonymous. I would have to say that it all depends on what position you're trying to hit. The job market here may be worse in certain areas than others but like I said it would probably depend.
If you are planning a move and have the flexibility I would try to secure a job before you move.
I worked with an employer that would hire based on phone interviews for out of town applicants so it is possible.
Personally speaking I have several family members that have experienced either layoffs like myself or severely cut hours. I wouldn't try making a move without some possiblities or definates lined up but that's myself. I'm a homebody and have never had a major move before so that's just my opinion.

Awww! Just saw you in the paper and read your bio. I felt an immediate connection - I have two boys (7 1/2 and almost 6) and a baby girl who is 2!!! How fun! Anyway, just wanted to check out your blog. Looks great! I'll add you to my favorites!

Hi Jennifer! I'm in Memphis, and I don't have your e-mail address with me. Do you know how to find out what newspapers in Mississippi or Louisiana would have coupons? My cousin in Bay St. Louis, Miss. is wondering which paper to get. I looked on SOuthern Savers, but Jenny didn't have those states listed. I couldnt' find a contact me place for her on her site. Any info would be very helpful. Things are still tough here.
More later,
Gabe

Jennifer,
I met you last night in Kroger...I said"are you one of those coupon cutting ladies?" LOL... As soon as I woke up this morning I had to get on your website to check into this more. To my surprise its even more BIGGER than I even could imagine. FYI, this really does work for those of you that are wondering. I was in line behind her and 2 of her friend and each of them had carts full and all spent less than 20 dollars, but couldve saved more...I am in total shock. I even took a picture of her cart and her reciept... YES I DID.. I have shown it to everyone I could between last night and this afternoon. Its Amazing. My heart is heavy about it.
I want to thank you for everything you do and for sharing it with the world. I hope to see you in Kroger and that my buggy is full of great deals.

Hello Coupon Mommie! I am also a mommy who loves to get a great deal. I am still fairly new to this hole couponing thing even though I have been working at it for almost a year now. I saw where you have Couponing 101, is this a class you offer, I live in the Knowxville Are? I would LOVE to learn how to use coupons to get things free...I am getting fairly good at price match at Wal-Mart and then using coupons on top of that, but that is the extent of my couponing. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
